OVERVIEW

MatchMaker is a feature that helps Kindle users find their Kindle books with Audible Narrations on respective Amazon device surfaces. 


PROBLEM STATEMENT

MatchMaker tool is available on the Amazon site but not for Fire Tablet users willing to upgrade their Kindle books with Audible Narration.

USER GOAL

  • As a Kindle user, I would like to easily find what Audible Narration upgrades are available on Fire Tablets.

DESIGN GOALS

  • Create a Matchmaker page that helps the user discover upgrades easily.

  • Identify comprehensive entry points and user flows on the Fire Tablet.

  • Follow and use the existing Fire Tablet style guide and design patterns to create the experience.

BUSINESS GOALS

  • Increase purchases from WfV customers.

INITIATING MATCHMAKER

MatchMaker entry points enable Audible companion searches.


MATCHMAKER RESULTS

Within the results page, the user can lightly experience the title narration by playing the sample. 


ADDING AUDIBLE NARRATION

Users can effortlessly purchase and download Audible titles. This is enabled simply by the 1-click purchase capability.


NO AUDIBLE MATCHES

In case of no Audible matches, the user is taken to a Kindle store page with a hero banner promoting Kindle titles with Audible Narration. Users can also directly browse WfV-enabled Kindle titles in the dedicated carousel.
