OVERVIEW

Alexa App is optimized for setup, discovery, engagement, and control. It is designed to provide supplemental information activated by voice commands. Alexa app is a control hub that orchestrates the use of multiple service domains.

ALEXA APP DESIGN TENETS

Alexa's voice response on mobile is more succinct than on a headless device.
When on the go, we will optimize the Alexa app for a personalized experience.
We will have functional parity across the Alexa ecosystem.
The mobile experience is primarily touch-forward with a voice assistant.
Alexa on mobile will deep-link into 2P/3P apps where appropriate (instead of recreating those app experiences).
